Urban Decay Perversion Mascara!

Okay!  First and foremost, sorry that I have been awol the past few days.  I have been moving into a new apartment and SHEESH!  So much crap I don't need.  Thankfully... I do need ALL of the makeup.  But Daddy finally got internet working and is now working on fixing the cable... we are putting away the last of our things and dealing with the obscene lack of closet space.  But here we are.

Side note.  Since we are kind of transient at this point... all of my mail goes to my family home in Upstate New York--- Not so Sunny Syracuse Area--- so I only get my mail on the weekend or Monday when it is brought back for me.  So that's why you all have probably already gotten your ipsy bags and whatnot.  But here we are... The Urban Decay Perversion Mascara sample.

I have been wanting to try this stuff FOREVER, but never got the chance and was terrified of committing the crime of buying it full size and never touching it again.  I am guilty of about 20 counts of that with drugstore mascara.  So, Ipsy sent this in the August Glam Bag and I was really pumped to get it.

NOT DISAPPOINTED!!!

It has a big feathery brush that looks unwieldy at first, but once you use it... OMG!

So, I don't know if it is the formula, the brush, or a combination of the two, but this stuff rocks.  10/10!  It is a very true black and the hold is like nothing else.  Let me break it down for you.  I put it on Thursday morning, forgot to take my makeup off and passed out... then rolled out of bed Friday morning because I heard my dad moving things... and literally put on a ball cap and pants and left the house to start shuttling.  No shower or touch up (ew, I know, but we were moving all day anyway and I got one when I could a bit later).  Not one flake or smudge.  I wore it today (thankfully after a shower) and it withstood another hardcore day of moving, sweating like a whore in church, and shopping.

So, needless to say, this has outdone even 30$ Lancome mascaras that I have splurged on.  It is a miracle.

Don't be intimidated by the brush; I know it is big and a bit terrifying, but it is actually very soft and gentle.  So I would recommend everyone give this a try.  ONE COAT had me looking like this this morning (you would have already seen if you follow my instagram @MommysLittleHarpy).

So, excuse the smudge under my eye and my frizzy hair, but we had already been moving stuff for a few hours before I snapped the picture.  Urban Decay has gained my business now and forever... hopefully they never discontinue this stuff.  It is brilliant.

And because I've been so scattered, I will be updating TWICE.  Either tonight or in the morning.  Because I broke down and bought the Country Palette today, along with a bunch of clothes.

Stick with me! I promise things will get much more regular with my updates as I get settled and life slows down.  I'm thinking, at the very least, I will update every Sunday.  Send me feedback if you have any!  I'm new to this whole blogging ordeal!
