400 years ago... In Bethesda, Maryland

If you got the Family Guy joke, please help yourself to a old star.

Now sit down and get comfortable, plug in your computer if it has a dying battery.  I would buy everyone a cup of joe if I had that ability.  Currently I am fantasizing about Dunkin Donuts coffee with a raspberry flavor shot and one of those lemonade donuts.  NO, I am NOT a Starbucks drinker--- although they do have some yummy specialty drinks.

But I digress, I am not here to talk about coffee.  No, I would like to talk about Cafe Deluxe at 4910 Elm Street, Bethesda, MD.  This place is seated right next to Mamma Lucia's restaurant.  Now, I have been there [Cafe Deluxe] several times and can not say anything against anything on the menu.  The food is fabulous, always, and the service is just as wonderful.  Each time that my dear William and I have frequented this establishment, the food has been moan worthy and the manager always visits the table to ask how everything is going.

If you end up in Bethesda, Cafe Deluxe is a must see.

But, I am only passing through, I don't have time to sit down for lunch, you say?  Fear not, I have a quick stop for you as well. Quartermaine Coffee Roasters at 4817 Bethesda Avenue is a must stop.  They serve hot apple cider all year round!
